Quick Start Challenge – or – QSC

Quick Start Challenge

Bloggers are an interesting bunch.

If you have been blogging for any length of time, you know it
comes with it’s share of ups and downs.

One thing for sure, your going to learn a lot!

Since last week, I’ve enrolled in the “Quick Start Challenge.”

It’s a group of like-minded individuals working through
a 4 week course to better understand the fundamentals
of a successful on-line business.

It’s a perfect course for newcomers as well as experienced
marketers looking to form and/or stabilize the foundation of their business.

The first week of the course has brought me to the point
of utilizing a portion of my time to continue blogging.

In the on line marketers world, the tasks are never done, but it’s
up to the individual to set their priorities straight.

By prioritizing your day and your tasks, you’ll find allotted time
to move into other areas of your business.

More than likely, the areas of your business that need your most attention.

If you procrastinate, you only have yourself to answer to.

It’s a great thing not to have a boss, but it’s your personal discipline
that determines the outcome of your business.

Personally, I miss out on a lot due to my self disciplinary ways,
but the satisfaction and accomplishments are all well worth it to me.

If I didn’t, it just wouldn’t be what it is.

A special thanks to Dean Holland, Craig Crawford and JF Garsula for
putting the Quick Start Challenge together, and for really caring
about people, their goals and dreams, and their success. 🙂

  1. Hi Steve,
Good job on the look of the blog, I agree that managing your time to accomplish tasks is bang on, it’s so easy to get distracted.

    Good luck on your challenge

    1. Yes, it’s easy to get caught up in your email inbox alone,
and distractions will always be there.

Thanks for your comment Doug, and we’ll be seeing you 🙂

  2. Hello Steve: Love your graphics.: Congratulations on being on this adventure with us. I hope we feel inspired by what Dean et al. are doing for us, setting us such an excellent example to emulate, to get blogging and doing our assignments. Wishing you the best on this adventure and others you choose.

    1. Thanks Anne, it has inspired me to make time for blogging 🙂
Making time in the most productive areas is of great importance to me.
With limited time, knowing the productive areas is a plus!

  3. Hey Steve, great site and I’m really liking the inspiration-motivation-meditation sections. Will definitely be visiting regularly to get ideas and inspiration. Thanks!

    1. Hi Rich, thanks for stopping by…
The inspirations section is something that helps me and thought
others would like it too 🙂 Hope to see you often!

      1. Well, I certainly like it, that’s for sure 🙂 I’ve just signed up for your list and looking forward to reading the free eBook. It’s been ages since I read a Napoleon Hill book. Quality choice of free gift!

        1. Well, Rich…. there are a number of books I read over and over again,
and “Think and Grow Rich” is one of them. Along time ago I used to wonder
why a title like that…. and now I know!
Thanks for your comment Rich 🙂

          1. I agree. You can’t go past Think and Grow Rich for creating the right mindset. Hey, I really love your site, Steve. Your theme really seems to suit you. Good luck with the Challenge.

          2. Great book….you forget about things until you read it again. I really like the beginning about Napoleon Hill’s son.
Thanks Barbie, I never thought of the theme suits me, but I guess it does 🙂
Thanks for your well wishes too!

  4. Hi Steve,

You’ve really helped my confidence with your Facebook comments and visiting my blog today, thank you!
Your site says a lot about the caring and compassionate being that you are. You have much to offer the online business entrepeneur; business planning, software and inspirational motivation. I know it’ll take me a while to absorb it gradually so I don’t get information overload…

    Much appreciated,

  5. Hi Steve,
Cool picture on your blog’s background! Star photography is something I’ve been getting into a bit lately. It’s fun to not have to stop shooting after the suns gone down.

I agree with you about the need for a person to have self-discipline in their lives. It makes a real difference in one’s life in the long run.

    1. Hi Bryan, thanks….star photography and in video just amazes me.
I’m sure with your background, your going to get some great shots!
The self-discipline factor is an effort daily, and here’s Edison’s
      take on it.
There is no expedient to which a man will not go to avoid the labor of thinking.

      Thanks for your comment!

  6. Hey Steve, pretty cool mindset to have regarding the QSC program man.

Blogging alone doesn’t makes money (or at least it hasn’t been in my short experience) but it does help with your branding, getting to know other people and as long as you have something to offer that other people want, then all you should worry about is to keep being yourself and keep creating new content.

    Sergio Felix.

PS. The background graphic you are using for your site really impressive man, I normally do not recommend using images because they tend to slow down the loading times but I actually spent some time in your site just to look at it a bit more. The earth can definitely be a fantastic place if you know where to look at!

    1. Thanks for your comment Sergio!
The QSC does different things for different people at different levels and
it’s been fun watching and interacting with it’s participants 🙂
I’ve met so many interesting people getting together and moving for their goals.

      I like the background image… I get a smile everytime I see it 🙂

  7. Nice looking site Steve. Love the background…really spacey and cool looking. It was so nice to be with you on the Challenge. I learned a lot and we sure made a lot of friends. Keep teaching us all the good stuff. Thanks, Scott

    1. Hi Scott,

Thanks for the compliment. 🙂 Glad to know you from the QSC, and now we go on
to become friends after the QSC finished. That’s a reward in itself!
Thanks for stopping by and see you around the net!
