Not long ago, as I go about my daily Internet business I received an email from an online marketer from which I had signed up to view their full opportunity.
I do sign up for things out of curiosity, what I can learn from it or to see what details are underlying deeper past the sign up point.
This particular email was a series I recognized coming from an auto-responder.
“I’d really like to know Steve”.
So at times I will answer with helpful intentions to the person on the other end. In this case I did knowing that I wasn’t going to give it a lot of keystrokes of explanation as it was most likely going back to their auto-responder.
I did respond, also giving the reason I didn’t order my decision pack for the benefit of the marketer on the other end if they did happen to read it.
A couple of days later I received another email from this individual as if they never got my reply and business was as usual.
A few more days later I received another email asking “why I haven’t ordered my decision pack yet” and they would really appreciate it if I could take the time and let them know why and how come…
Moral of the Story: Would you put questions that seem to be of importance to you in an auto-responder if you have no intention of viewing or following up with the answer?
